In addition, gcc-4.1 is bad because then this package cannot build on
amd64 with ghc-6.8.2 -- unless you use gcc-4.2+.  This is because the
'-fno-toplevel-reorder' option is not introduced until gcc-4.2; but
ghc-6.8.2 makes use of it and fails the build.

For what it's worth, I have successfully compiled gtk2hs with gcc-4.3
and tested a gtk application with it.
