reopen 307662 tag 307662 sarge thanks Since this security hole was fixed in a new upstream release that has several thousand lines of other changes since the version in testing, and since testing is frozen, I think we need to make a release of version 1.0.23 via t-p-u to get the fix into sarge.
I checked the patch at http://www.maradns.org/download/patches/maradns-1.0.26-rekey_rng.patch and it applies to 1.0.23. I have not checked though to see if it really fixes the security hole when applied to that older version (or if it builds). Kai, can you do that and make an upload to testing-proposed-updates? -- see shy jo
