Package: apt Version: 0.7.10 Severity: normal Hi,
Recently, I began to use Debian Hurd. The whole system works well. But after upgrading to the up-to-date state, there appears to be a mismatch between apt and dpkg. That is, the apt could not exec dpkg. Each time when I use apt system to install/upgrade/remove packages, apt always reports: ... Preconfiguring packages ... Could not exec dpkg! E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (100) But if I mannually execute dpkg to handle the cached packages under /var/cache/apt/archives/, dpkg works properly. Thanks. -- System Information: GNU hurd 0.3 GNU-Mach 1.3.99/Hurd-0.3 i686-AT386 GNU ii hurd 20071119-1 ii gnumach 2:1.3.99.dfsg.cvs20070809-1 ii dpkg 1.14.16.6 ii dpkg-dev 1.14.16.6 ii apt-utils 0.7.10 ii libc0.3 2.7-7 -- HZ -- HZ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
