Another hint Brian state is that he started his profile (which he migrated) with netscape 4 or something. Since, we couldn't reproduce it when starting with a mozilla profile, maybe this is the way to go?
Manuel, can you confirm, that your mozilla profile initially was created with netscape communicator too?
No, I can't. My inital profile was created with Mozilla The Suite. It was not a very old version, because I don't have this computer for longer than a year now and I dist-upgrade my testing system daily. My guess is that the version was 1.3 or so.
Do note that I had the same problem with FireFox 1.0 on Windows, in combination with the same Cyrus server, see one of my previous mails. So, I'm quite positive it's an upstream bug.
