I just upgraded my 64bit test-system obove to lenny, to see weather this
helps:
Using now:
Linux debian 2.6.22-3-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 09:22:35 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux
valgrind-3.3.0-Debian
GNU gdb 6.7.1-debian
Result: working... no problems.
Note that all software versions changed (as I did a complete apt-get
dist-upgrade)!!!
The fix therefore may be in any of the following newer software "parts":
- kernel config
- kernel patches
- valgrind
- gdb
- libc
- other libs/software
