Package: ia32-libs Version: 2.2 Severity: wishlist I tried to run a propriatary application today that needed glib2.0 and ia32-libs currently only has 1.2 it appears. I was talking with some other people using the same application and they were able to run it fine on ubuntu gutsy. I took a look at the ia32-libs version in gutsy and it looks like they forked debian's 2.1 and added some stuff. If you look at the latest version in ubuntu hardy they appear to have merged in debian's 2.2 as well as adding a bunch of libs and fixes. Maybe some of that work can be merged back into Debian?
Here is where they track it in launchpad https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs The current diff is at http://patches.ubuntu.com/i/ia32-libs/ia32-libs_2.2ubuntu4.patch Thanks, -- Matt Taggart [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
