Holger: If I can't reproduce your other bug (#465273), I will make a new release soon. I'll do a backport for backports.org soon, so that all etch users can use readahead-list. >>>> BTW.: Is the latest upstream version really from 2006 ? >>> It seems to be the latest upstream version, but even this one can only be >>> found on the Gentoo mirrors, not on the original location. >> Interesting. No work has gone into readahead. readahead will be replaced by prefetch, another alternative consisting of kernel patches and user-space application. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopTeam/Specs/Prefetch - probably in Ubuntu 8.10. > > Happy hacking, PS, Petter: If it's no problem for you, I will add DM-Upload-Allowed to the next upload, so I can upload new versions without sponsoring. -- Julian Andres Klode, Fellow of the Free Software Foundation Europe Ubuntu Member | Debian Maintainer | Developer try Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/ | my site: http://jak-linux.org/ mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | IRC: juliank languages: German | English
