To help avoid cluttering our bug tracking system with duplicate reports for same bugs, please check before creating a new report if the bug found has already been reported. To help solve this bug, please provide the output of the following two commands: lsmod yaird --test A possible workaround, if you are not using encrypted filesystems below your root mount, is to comment out the "INPUT" line in /etc/yaird/Default.cfg Of course another "workaround" is to completely abandon the package containing the bug, as you mention in your later post to this bugreport. If you don't care about the benefits offered by yaird, then you are probably better off using the mainstream initramfs-tools anyway. But even if you favor initramfs-tools over yaird, then please consider reinstalling yaird and provide the above material, to help solve this bug. If both yaird and initramfs-tools is installed then yaird will not be used by default when installing official Debian kernels. In other words, if you did not manually edit /etc/kernel-img.conf, then reinstalling yaird now, after you've swithced to initramfs-tools, should not cause your system to break. So please consider helping out. Kind regards, - Jonas - -- Jonas Smedegaard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.jones.dk/~jonas/ IT-guide dr.
