package: star version: 1.5a67-1.2 star runs configure 15 times during the build process:
castor~$ grep checking.host.system.type star-build.log | wc -l 15 castor~$ (star-build.log is http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=star;ver=1.5a67-1.2;arch=ia64;stamp=1201491929 ) 14 of those configure runs are during the clean target. Not sure whether this is a bug in smake or star or the Debian packaging, but it wastes a lot of buildd CPU cycles.
