Package: file Version: 4.21-3 Followup-For: Bug #451524
The problem is exactly as you describe: the current magic reads the size of the QEMU file as a 32-bit quantity. The author admits (in the comments) that he doesn't know exactly how the size is stored. The best I've been able to do is change it to print out the quantity unsigned, but someone with a knowledge of the QEMU formats needs to improve the magic. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages file depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libmagic1 4.21-3 File type determination library us file recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
