I've also substracted those 2 files from each other and put the result at: http://www.roeckx.be/test-diff.flac It has a peak amplitude of -56.7 dB. You really have to turn up the volume to hear the peaks around 300 Hzi, 600 Hz and 10 KHz which are around -65 - -70 dB. With some luck you should hear those very good in your headphones.
