Package: fvwm
Version: 1:2.5.23-2
Severity: normal

fvwm seg-faults when running synplify version 9.0 (see
http://www.synplicity.com/). Just run synplify and select any of the
menu-options leading to a pop-up window, for an example "About", and
fvwm seg-faults.

I get this on stdout/stderr when the crash occur:

X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 70 (X_PolyFillRectangle)
Resource id in failed request: 0x2200006
Serial number of failed request: 744759
Current serial number in output stream: 744763
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 129 (SHAPE)
Minor opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ShapeMask)
Resource id in failed request: 0x2000007
Serial number of failed request: 392274
Current serial number in output stream: 392286

And strace gives this:

When running 32-bit fvwm version 2.5.18-3 from stable (chroot) against
a vnc-server, this problem doesn't occur. Also, other window-mangers
work fine.
