Package: gnome-terminal Version: 2.8.2-2 Severity: normal When launching a gnome-terminal instance from my window manager menu (icewm) with the --window-with-profile command, I get two windows. This is an example of a command line used in my ~/.icewm/menu file (all on one line, of course):
gnome-terminal --window-with-profile Debian --title "people [logging in]" --command "slogin [EMAIL PROTECTED]" I get two windows: One actually executing the command and using the selected profile, and one local window with the default profile. Before updating to Sarge, I was using a similar commanad (but without the profile part, of course, setting the colours explicitly) from icewm, and it worked just fine, only opening one copy. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26 Locale: LANG=sv, LC_CTYPE=sv (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to sv_SE.ISO8859-1) Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii gnome-control-center 1:2.8.2-3 The GNOME Control Center for GNOME ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libbonobo2-0 2.8.1-2 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgconf2-4 2.8.1-5 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.4.2-2 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-0 2.8.1-2 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomeui-0 2.8.1-3 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii liborbit2 1:2.12.1-1 libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libstartup-notificat 0.8-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libvte4 1:0.11.12-1 Terminal emulator widget for GTK+ ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1 X Window System protocol client li ii scrollkeeper 0.3.14-9.1 A free electronic cataloging syste ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
