severity 463430 serious thanks Inasmuch as the ia64 porters are now treating all such pointer conversions as build failures, this is actually a "serious" bug because the package now "fails to build" on an architecture where it built before.
Furthermore, there are binaries already uploaded to the archive for the other 64-bit archs which now have this issue and are prone to segfault whenever the LDAP code is used. The "lazy solution" provided by Dann will indeed correct this problem, if you don't want to port to the OpenLDAP 2.3 APIs at this time.
