Package: file Version: 4.23-1 Followup-For: Bug #216451 I've been trying to patch upstream to fix this bug, but I can't find an unambiguous rule. I had a look at http://fileext.com/ and it gives a string for PPT which is a prefix of that it gives for MSI. Both types of file match the longer string.
Any help in fixing this most welcome. For the moment files of this sort tend to come out as Microsoft Office Documents, or application/octet-stream. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (601, 'unstable'), (600, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages file depends on: ii libc6 2.7-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libmagic1 4.23-1 File type determination library us file recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
