The intended way to do this is to just run DebTorrent on one of the
local computers (which is on most often), then on the others point
their sources.list entries to the DebTorrent machine. That way all
packages get downloaded onto one machine, and requests for the same
package from another machine get satisfied immediately.

This is of course not supported or even recommended because you aren't
gaining or contributing anything by doing it this way. Perhaps you
want to use something like apt-proxy or apt-cacher on your local
network? They will download needed packages from mirrors, while
sharing already downloaded packages with other machines on your local
network.
