Package: vim-doc Version: 1:7.0-122+1etch3 Severity: minor
I've got the vim and vim-doc packages installed, but when I type :help in vim, I get: E433: No tags file E149: Sorry, no help for help.txt But: $ locate help.txt | grep vim /usr/share/vim/doc/help.txt This error went away when I installed vim-runtime. So all is well, but I think that either vim-runtime should be installed with vim by default, or vim shouldn't brag about its help file on start-up when in fact it isn't there or can't be found. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
