Package: lftp
Version: 3.6.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I guess it might be useful to support binary prefixes when setting net:*
variables. I tried to “set net:limit-rate 50” first, but 50B/s is a bit
low, so I gave “set net:limit-rate 50k” a try, and since lftp didn't
yell at me, I thought it was OK, but that wasn't actually the case.

I guess it would make sense to either yell when the argument isn't
numeric-only, or to support such prefixes, so as to make it easier and
more intuitive to specify rates.

Cheers,
