Package: freeciv-client-sdl Version: 2.1.2-1 Severity: important Hello,
civclient-sdl refuses to start because it lacks some fonts: $ civclient-sdl 2: Using Video Output: x11 1: Cannot find sound spec-file "stdsounds". 2: To get sound you need to download a sound set! 2: Get sound sets from <ftp://ftp.freeciv.org/freeciv/contrib/audio/soundsets>. 2: Proceeding with sound support disabled 0: Could not open font: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf 0: No usable default theme found, aborting! The mentioned font is installed in the system. The problem seems to be that theme config does not work with absolute paths. Copying the mentioned font to /usr/share/games/freeciv/themes/gui-sdl/human and changing /usr/share/games/freeciv/themes/gui-sdl/human/theme.themespec accordingly (see font_file variable), seems to fix this problem.
