Using this 2.6.24 kernel I can't burn a DVD using growisofs.
I can't see any error messages, but the burn is very very
slow. According to the trace the amount of data being
written is tiny. It's unusable like this. A backup that normally
takes 25m would take days to complete.

When I revert to kernel 2.6.22 the DVD writes at normal speed.

I tried backing up to disk and it took about 25m so disk access seems
to be unaffected by the problem.
