Configuration:
* IBM Thinkpad T41
Steps to reproduce:
* Start up Gnome
* Play a sound file with Totem
* Press Volume Down key a few times on Thinkpad T41 keyboard
Expected behavior:
* a Gnome pop-up window appears in the middle of the screen
* Volume goes down
* Loudspeaker icon in top-right corner has less "soundwaves"
Actual behavior:
* Volume goes down
* No pop-up window
* Actual volume not reflected in loudspeaker icon
Reproducible: always
This has happened since upgrading hotkey-setup to 0.1-21 (from 
0.1-17.1).
