Sure I'm interested about this bug report. Otherwise I wouldn't have asked you for helping to debug this problem. As I said, the code is there, so we just have to find out why it is/was not working for you. (again, I don't have thermal support in my laptop, so it's hard for me to debug this).
(I guess it would be bad if functionality is being advertised in the package which doesn't work, because then everybody has to fiddle with powersaved before giving up and writing their script like I did. But presumably you would notice such a problem.)
