Package: lintian Version: 1.23.42 Severity: normal Hi!
Currently, lintian is aware about tcl8.3, tcl8.4 and tclsh (virtual) packages when testing for tclsh scripts, and about tk8.3, tk8.4 and wish (virtual) packages when testing for wish scripts. These checks can't be sufficient anymore. There are two new packages tcl8.5 (which includes /usr/bin/tclsh8.5) and tk8.5 (includes /usr/bin/wish8.5) which can be used for invoking tclsh and wish scripts respectively. Also, packages tcl and tk are added. They don't contain any files but depend on default tclX.Y and tkX.Y packages (currently tcl8.4 and tk8.4). So, a package with tclsh script can depend on tcl, and a package with wish script can depend on tk.
