It seems to be the norm with these types of packages to autoconfigure every supported webserver on installation. People (including me) expect to install it and have it "just work". So, if I were to support another webserver, I would expect to have to make every effort to do that. It's not actually that hard to do, so I don't consider it an undue burden on the packager.
