Is there some chance of having Stream Control Transmission Protocol (aka SCTP) support in socat? (See, e.g., <URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCTP > for background on this.) At least basic SCTP support should be no more difficult to write than TCP, and I believe socat would be the ideal tool for exposing SCTP at the command-line level. Cheers, -- David A.
