Package: fglrx-driver
Version: 8.45.4-1
Severity: normal

Since driver 8.44.x (7-12), I get this output:

In other words: when the program (in this case openMSX, using the
SDLGL-PP renderer) is switching display settings, drmGetMagic fails for
some reason and you get slow indirect rendering. This worked fine before
and works fine with other drivers/cards. It seems VLC shows a similar
problem, since the same driver release.

Strange that it works for the first time, but breaks when you change a
setting in the same session. Restarting openMSX is a workaround, but
very, very annoying. I hope the Ati/AMD folks will do better testing,
because more and more things seem to be breaking with newer driver
releases.
