The current stable version of this program is 2.27.57 per the website at
http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/
The latest debian package for this program is 2.13.16-5. Since that release
several new features have been included and several bugs have been fixed.
One aspect of this particular program is that both the client and the server must be running the same major version (currently 2.27) of the program to successfully synchronize thus other clients running the current stable version of this program from other sources are unable to synchronize with servers running the debian package. This is why I have marked this bug important,
I would suggest that the current stable version of unison (2.27.57) be packaged
and put into debian unstable or testing.
