Package: fglrx-driver
Version: 8.45.4-1
Severity: important

Some applications are failing to start with the current fglrx driver - notably
running any app
via Wine, and also Unreal Tournament 2004 (using the native client).

Using 'export LIBGL_DEBUG = verbose' I get the following output:

libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 8.45.4 fglrx (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so: wrong ELF
class: ELFCLASS64)
libGL error: unable to load driver: fglrx_dri.so
X Error of failed request: GLXBadContext
Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request: 18
Current serial number in output stream: 18

That seems a bit odd, as I would think it would expect it to be 64-bit on an
amd64 system...?

I am using a Radeon X1800XT, and Wine works fine when using radeonhd.

Many thanks,
Mike
