when trying to create a launcher from the desktop (Right click, Desktop, Create launcher), the dialog instantly crashes when one starts typing the name for the launcher. Note that surprizingly, if one clicks somewhere in the dialog before starting typing, that works fine. On a related note, it looks like one has to right-click on an existing icon to select “Desktop, Create launcher”, and that it's not possible to do so when right-clicking on the background. FWIW, the same happens with 4.4.2-2 on amd64.
