Package: kmail Version: 4:3.5.8-1 Followup-For: Bug #393774
Hi, due to the phenomenology of the crashes I assume to have the same problem. On my system I get the crash quite consistently, even when moving only one message. I had never noticed this during normal usage, but I am reorganizing my folders now and have to restart every couple of steps. All the relevant folders are in one local account. They are all maildirs. I start by moving a couple of emails from one folder into its parent, then move from a sibling into the same parent folder. Usually the crash occurs already on the second move, never on the first. Sometimes I have three or (few) more moves. My impression is, that this has something to do with the speed I am doing the moves, but waiting does not always help. I also had it crash after I had already successfully deleted a now empty folder -- I take it that meand the move had finished. A backtrace is attached.
