Package: subversion Version: 1.4.4dfsg1-1 Severity: normal I typed "svn up" and wanted to interrupt it since the connection didn't work. But it didn't react (and wasn't taking CPU time either). As one can see, the connection script (ssh wrapper) died, but svn was still waiting:
