No problem. I had to go through the bug report again to remember the current
status of things :-/ .

Well, I can, but is that the reason behind the bug? What I know is that the
translations (even incomplete) could be taken from the old version and added to
the new version. Or at least that's how I see it. but the problem seems to be
a name mismatch, "apps" vs. "applications"

Will the old file be removed automatically? It seems like the right thing to do
since not removing it would lead to debris.

But, to sum it up, I don't think we got to the bottom of the problem, did we?
At the time of my initial report (January 2007) was there the transition in
place?
If it was, are we still "riding" it? I am confused.

Either:
- this is a long transition or
- there was a transition, but no translations were taken from the old version,
or
- there was a transition, but there is still a bug present... or
- some other variant which I don't follow.

Which is it?

P.S.: Send the outdated translation, I'll update it.
