I wonder if the "20 refresh menus" patch is responsible. As for me, I had the Export menu empty before the upgrade to 0.4.1-1, where it was populated thanks to the "refresh menus" patch. A second upgrade to 0.4.1-4ubuntu2 went smoothly and the menus are still populated.
