This is already done by ubuntu with the Merge-O-Matic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> mail, I do not how it exactly works since I have only received mails for a couple of my packages and they have merged all of them. Anyway, I do not think it is a good idea, at least in the case of the packages I co/maintain: -diff is very big, talking about Megas here, due to some libtool/autotools fun. (I have to hightlight here the amarok patch that is ~46M only :)) -diffs is totally uninteresting since they are only changing maintainers field and usual kubuntu "improvements".
