Package: dhcp3-client Version: 3.1.0-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch Since dhcp3-client version 3.1.0 (currently on unstable) using domain-name option in dhclient.conf will result the domain list being used in 'domain' entry at /etc/resolv.conf (not 'search' as previous versions).
Using the new implemented option 'domain-search' will result in dhclient segfaults (also /etc/resolv.conf will show the behavior described in the bug 461056). By adding 'option domain-search code 119 = string;' at dhclient.conf fixed the segfault problem (still I had to apply the suggestion on bug 461056 to fix the /etc/resolv.conf problem).
