While I concur with the submitter in that zsh-newuser-install should not run automatically at all, I have a more substantive complaint against it in that it does not check whether the shell is running interactively. If I place zsh in the shebang line of a script which is then executed by a user without a .zshrc, zsh-newuser-install will run before my script is executed. I find this behavior unacceptable.
