Hi, I've had exactly the same bug... until I read your message, David.
So the cropping dialog works - but I find it kind of unintuitive that "Apply" doesn't apply my crop selection, but that I have to click the "crop" button on the upper left first, which is in the very opposite corner of the apply button.
