"Appropriate" vs "right now", that's your choice. I'm well aware of bug #448537 and your choice would make sense if you'd wait for well done solutions rather than apply quick ones. However, you've accepted the patch for bug #459033, being the -fno-rtti usage legitimate and #459151 the culprit. Since you're forcing me to repackage, could you please define "appropriate for a package of this nature" or tell me whether you knew about this gcc bug?
