yeah, and (beeing the direct opposite of what Martin wrote) IMHO this behaviour totally sucks. I've never seen that any system is so ignorant to a user pressing the power button. I actually accept that the system shall not shutdown _immediately_ if someone presses the power button, because it might happen by accident (also I can not really understand how someone can press the power button accidental) but at least it should do that after a timeout just like it does if I call "System->Shutdown" in the gnome menu. Actually this is the behaviour I expect and so certainly the most of previous windows users do. Is there any chance that this will be changed?
