Package: colordiff Version: 1.0.7-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
I've just read [1], and I found myself bouncing, no need to spawn $EDITOR anymore, to just look at the wdiff-like output of debdiff. Unfortunately, although it works fine for simple wdiff tests, it turns out that piping debdiff output (like debdiff foo_bar-1_arch.changes foo_bar-2_arch.changes) into colordiff only results in the following items being coloured in red: - lines containing only dashes; - files that are in one of the .changes and not in the other one. 1. http://debaday.debian.net/2008/01/09/colordiff-put-some-color-in-your-diffs/ Apparently, it gets confused by the lines containing only dashes. It would be very nice for colordiff to: - support debdiff output out of the box, OR - support debdiff output when an option is passed, OR - support an option to force the diff mode to be wdiff, which should do the job AFAICT. Thanks for considering. Cheers, -- Cyril Brulebois -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
