Which should be exact what the average user does simply because the majority of the packages does not provide info pages -> The wget manual does suck. If you really think the arguments you provided are true please make it obvious for people looking into the manpage that this information is not complete and that people should look into the info pages. Your arguments makes not much sense in my opinion especially because you assume that people have info installed which is not always the case.
