reopen 344428 ! severity 344428 important severity 344557 important thanks Hello:
I have bumped into that problem, I'll send this information https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120140 and http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=344557 I reopen it an raise severity since I think loosing DVD (in my case 3/3) most of the time is not the aim of these software. Maybe 344428 and 344557 should be merged eventually. k3b is version 1.0.4-3 and dvd+rw-tools is 7.0-9 rebuilded with debug symbols (I had the same problem on pristine 7.0-9) Well, I went to the k3b DVD copy dialog, and choose to do a DVD copy on the fly from my laptop internal DVD to an USB external drive. I chose 4x speed. When k3b was about to finish it, it stalled, k3b and growisofs were both taking high CPU, top excerpt: 23584 rasasi 20 0 336m 35m 19m S 95 1.8 34:18.50 k3b 23723 rasasi 20 0 46820 33m 1052 R 82 1.7 3:41.88 growisofs the growisofs command line is: rasasi 23723 15.6 1.6 46820 34052 ?
