Note, due to security problems found in 6.1.5, it is best that all jetty6 efforts be switched to 6.1.7.
see http://docs.codehaus.org/display/JETTY/Jetty+Security We are also now making debs for Jetty6 with every release: http://dist.codehaus.org/jetty/jetty-6.1.7/debian/ These are built from a debian module within Jetty and uses the maven build tool. I think the binary form of the debs is pretty much compatible with the guidlines... we just need to make it build properly with maven. cheers Michael Koch wrote: > On Sun, Dec 16, 2007 at 01:56:40PM +0100, Torsten Werner wrote: >> Hi, >> >> what is the state of packaging the new upstream version? > > Greg Folkert from Jetty upstream did some packaging work and included it > in the upstream release.
