Currently powersaved depends on hal which itself depends on pm-utils. Therefore there are two power management infrastructures installed and operating at the same time, leading to various conflicts and race-conditions (for instance, upon unplugging AC, there are two concurrent scripts trying to modify kernel settings like /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode, etc). Don't really know what the fix should be...
