Package: backup-manager
Version: 0.7.6-3
Severity: important

When using the ssh upload method, if the target directory does not
exist (such as the default suggestion of /var/archives/uploads),
backup-manager will upload the backups to /var/archives/uploads as a
file:

$ sudo file /var/archives/uploads
/var/archives/uploads: gzip compressed data, from Unix, last modified: Fri Jan
4 06:25:04 2008

This also results in the loss of all but the last backup, and
presumably all but the last directory if you back up multiple
directories.
