There seems to be a bash-ism in debian/rules:

        rm -f $(CURDIR)/debian/libomnievents-dev/usr/include/*.{h,hh}

I will change this to

        rm -f $(CURDIR)/debian/libomnievents-dev/usr/include/*.h
        rm -f $(CURDIR)/debian/libomnievents-dev/usr/include/*.hh
