Package: id3v2
Version: 0.1.11-3
Severity: normal

I've seen this several times on video files and the like.

If id3v2 is accidentally run on these files, through whatever
mechanism, it fails to recognize that they aren't mp3 files and
corrupts them. A detailed description of one instance of this problem
is at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=445694
