lprfax is one of the last packages in the archive to prompt without using debconf. It would be GREAT if you could solve this for lenny. (In march 2004, you said you'd try to do it for sarge). Also, Junichi provided a patch that, while not perfect, would avoid blocking piuparts tests of your package.
