I have similar problem. I have added myself into scanner group (has it dissappered with updates?)
and than after reloging it was possible to start hp-toolbox. But sometimes I get:
io/hpmud/mlc.c 179: unable to read MlcReverseCmd header: Ressource temporarily
unavailable
io/hpmud/musb.c 1515: invalid MlcCredit from peripheral, trying miser
It take than up to one minute to start. If I start hp-toolbox immediately after that it starts
already much faster and without these error messages. Probably until the usb cabel to printer is
pulled out and again pulled in.
