What I don't see is why a Debian system that happens to be connected to the Internet should also be unsuitable for children, or for people who happen to run such a system at work. What's worse is that these images are usually displayed when the user is not present. Just picture the scene - a boss walking up to a subordinate's computer, which suddenly starts displaying porn.
